A great day for the Regenbogenland

Events

The life-shortened affected children

in the Regenbogenland are getting older and more often due to the medical progress they reach the age of young adults. In order to adapt optimally to these new circumstances and to be able to take care of the youngsters age-appropriate, the youth hostel was built.

On this splendid summer day, a large amount of guests had a lot of fun and was entertained by a colorful supporting program. The vice-president of the German Bundestag, Ms. Michaela Noll, the mayor of the state capital, Mr. Thomas Geisel, and Regenbogenland patron Dr. Vera Geisel officially opened the Jugendhospiz and the in-house pastor, Rainer Strauss, blessed the rainbow land as part of a moving church service.

We are pleased that we were able to organize a children's animation together with the fun-makers of "Knallfrosch". Thus the Bouncy castle was a popular starting point, the handicraft stations were also very visited and the makeup station worked on high tours for the young guests. A wonderful soap bubble parade rounded off the great day.

We are very happy about the increase in the rainbowland and wish the team of our project and, of course, the bigger children a lot of fun and joy of life in the new facility!
