A sunny football festival at the Sonnenhof

Events

Football is not life

but football makes life beautiful: For example last Sunday at the Football Festival in the garden of the Kinderhospiz Sonnenhof of the Björn-Schulz-Foundation in Berlin.

More than 60 families had come to the party where football stood in the center in many different forms. And someone else used his spare time for an excursion to the Sonnenhof: Felix Kroos, Toni's brother and ambassador of the foundation, had come to the garden of the establishment during a wonderful late summer afternoon.

Stars

Of course, the captain of the 1. FC Union Berlin gladly fulfilled countless photo and autograph wishes.

The wonderful actions of Kivent were very popular amongst the young visitors. A photo box and a table soccer tournament with German champion Johannes Kirsch were well attended. In addition to the shooting skills of Felix, the „Torwand“ had to withstand countless attempts by the young guests. The girls enjoyed the time mostly at the make-up station or the picture frame building.

Caterer "Natürlich Häppchen" had provided a colorful buffet for the catering, the meat shop Dornig added grilled delicacies. Culinary highlights were the crepes from the Cafe car of the Orzescek family, which were prepared with love and the hot cafe warmed the parents and other guests at autumn fresh temperatures.

We would like to thank the team from the Sonnenhof that we were allowed to celebrate in the beautiful garden of the house and besides the guests for their appearance, of course, especially all hardworking helpers, who contributed to a day which will be remembered for a long time.
