The public viewing of the Toni Kroos Foundation for the World Cup prelude of the German national team against Mexico (0:1) last Sunday were great atmospheric events. Only a German victory would have made the mood of children and families even better.
At the Kinderhospiz Regenbogenland in Düsseldorf and at the Sonnenhof of the Bj.rn Schulz Foundation in Berlin, well over 250 guests came together in an exuberant mood. All children and their families enjoyed the fun program in the garden of the facilities. Delicious waffles, frozen yoghurt, ice cream, grilled sausages and salads were prepared and the guests enjoyed the food.
With the sun shining also the children brightened up. The creative make-up fairies gave the kids a lot of fun and made their faces look even happier. Football was also played in the garden of the facilities, the kids playfully fished for colorful ducks and tinkered diligently.
Toni sent greetings to all guests before the kick-off in a video message, which was of course enthusiastically received. The game of the national team was vigorously cheered, cheered and hoped. Of course, everyone would have wished for a better result - but it was not until the tournament started and now it is time for the next tasks against Sweden and South Korea.
