Lutz suffered from a particularly malignant brain tumor. He had to overcome a very serious brain surgery with many chemotherapies. Lutz fought bravely and patiently his way back into life.
The love of his parents and his brother, of course, helped him most. He visits many therapies to catch up the backlog by the serious illness. Language, balance and motoric skills must be trained. The greatest pleasure for him is the art therapy, which is not paid by the health insurance. The Toni Kroos Foundation provides him with this for one year and will continue to do so. It’s a chance for Lutz to escape into another world. He paints, kneads and plays joyfully. It seems as if he would put all the pain to paper and craft and thereby get rid of it forever.
It is wonderful to see him regain his laughter. We wish Lutz that this will always be the case.
