in a small three-room apartment. Son Yusuf has been suffering from a life-shortened illness, receiving home-grown palliative care every day for four years and is being cared for at the Kinderhospiz Regenbogenland in Düsseldorf. At home he needs his own room.
Family K. lives with four people
The parents are plagued by herniated discs, and the father suffers from two different forms of Parkinson's disease in an advanced stage. This required the purchase of a special orthopedic mattress. This mattress is located in the small room of daughter Ela. But at the age of eight, she needs her own room for well-being, so she can do her homework and invite friends, just a little space to play.
An orthopedic sleeping couch was used to move the parents' sleeping place, which can serve as a couch in the living room at the same time. The family turned towards the Toni Kroos Foundation and we were able to help quickly and uncomplicatedly. The four are very happy and we are happy that we could support them and provide them with a bit of normality. We would like to thank the Porta furniture store in Frechen, which gave us a more than generous discount.
