We support the Children’s Hospice Sonnenhof

We have grown!

Not only the family Kroos has added little Amelie to their life, the Toni Kroos Foundation has in its second year got a new task We now support alongside our two projects in Cologne and Dusseldorf, the Children's Hospice Sonnenhof of the Björn Schulz Foundation in Berlin.

The Björn Schulz Foundation was founded 1996. It is named after a small boy who died at only seven years from leukemia. Since then the Bj.rn Schulz Foundation accompanies families with terminally ill children from diagnostic point during the course of disease and further on. In 1997, the first nationwide ambulatory ‘Kinderhospizdienst’ with his volunteer families companions was established. 2002 the inpatient Children's Hospice Sonnenhof was opened, where pedagogy and pastoral care is available around the clock with a competent team of staff available. With its 14 beds and five parents’ apartments 14 guests aged from 0 to 35 years can be accommodated.
